The large park (8 hectares) accommodates: botanical species and original artifacts.
The Museum of Costume
The ground floor of the castle is dedicated to the ‘Museum of Costume’ where is preserved ‘The Gabriele Arezzo Trifiletti’s Collection’.
Baron Corrado Arezzo De Spuches
Baron Corrado Arezzo De Spucches (1824-1895) was the main artificer during the erection of the castle. In 1848 while he was elected member of the Sicilian parliament he also started running an anti-bourbon satirical newspaper.
Overview
The name of the district where the castle rises, comes from ’“Ayn as Jafat” (Fountain of Health).
